Rap it Up will be held on Saturday, September 27, at Juan Diego High School in Draper. This is another possible convention to attend if you missed Full Out. Dancers who missed Dance Fever will be required to attend another comparable two-day convention. Payment deadline is September 6th , 2014. Cost for each attendee is $100.00 until deadline. Registration cost at the door and past deadline is $125.00. Cash, cashier’s check, or credit will be the only form of payment accepted after deadline and at the door! NO PERSONAL CHECKS at the door. They accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover and always have an awesome faculty. Check out their website for additional details. We are so pleased to be able to offer additional ballet classes the first two Saturdays of the month! These classes complement the Acro schedule and are a great way to enhance your training! Be sure to review the updated schedule so you are familiar with your dance times when classes resume on September 8.

Reminder - There are a number of dancers who missed Full Out and need to make up this convention. The Dance with the Judges Workshop is an opportunity that will count as a one-day make up convention. It will be held on Saturday, September 20, from 8:30-4:30 at the Sports Academy in Logan. We will receive a discount if we have 15 or more dancers attending who are registered and paid by September 1. We have about nine dancers signed up, so far. Dance Fever will be held at: Provo Marriott & Convention Center 101 W 100 N Provo UT (801) 377-4700 From I-15 SB, take the Provo Center Street exit (265). Follow the road to the left onto Center Street. Get in the left-hand lane and turn left (north) onto 500 W/US 89. Take the 1st right onto 100 N. The hotel and convention center is on the right. Registration for all dancers begin at 2:45 p.m. with classes starting at 3:45. Check in at the studio registration table through the main lobby and past the elevators. Please note the schedule for the master classes has been revised due to an airline flight change. Denise will now be teaching the class on Friday from 4-5 p.m. Dee's class will be on Saturday from 8:15-9:15 a.m.  Be sure you bring your dance attire and shoes for jazz, lyrical, hip hop and ballet classes. Dinner will be provided at the convention Friday night. Dancers will need to make their own arrangements for breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Parents and Brigham IDC Dancers - Results for Amber's contemporary routine have been e-mailed to all who auditioned. We appreciate everyone who made the effort to audition! Amber said she  loved working with all the cute girls who came to the audition and had a VERY hard decision to make!! No matter what your outcome is, please see this as a positive experience and know that it is   all part of the process of getting better. You just have to go out there and always try again!! Dancers selected for Matt's Senior ADP small group on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. were notified tonight via e-mail. If you are in this routine, please plan accordingly for costume and competition fees. We are so pleased with the caliber of talent we see in all our dancers and are looking forward to an amazing year! We love you all!

There are several people who still haven't paid for Dance Fever yet. BE SURE YOU PAYMENT IS MADE BY WEDNESDAY! There will be staff in both offices from 5-8 p.m.  Dancers with outstanding balances will not be able to receive their wristbands.  Please don't make me post names! I don't want to do that to anyone :) Also, if you signed up for the supplemental master classes, pay in advance at the Studio or bring cash or check to the registration table ($5 per class-$10 total). We are SO excited to offer an additional contemporary routine opportunity for Brigham Elite IDC and Senior IDC dancers. The routine will be auditioned and choreographed by Amber Williams!! All dancers interested in auditioning or wanting more information about this opportunity are asked to meet with Amber on 8/19 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Brigham Studio. Choreography and initial rehearsals may be done on several Saturdays in September and October. Tuesday rehearsals from 4:00-5:00 p.m. will begin the first week of November. Additional costume, competition, and choreography fees will apply. All auditioned competition teams who have been dancing throughout the summer will start this evening fall schedule on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, AND THURSDAY, AUGUST 21 . All other fall classes will begin the week of September 8. Remember, we hope to be in the new studio by the end of November. The changes for teams with reduced hours, combined classes, and Friday classes will be TEMPORARY until we have additional space. Once we move to the new studio, we plan to restore additional hours, split most combined team classes, and return to weekday class schedules. We are excited to finally have our fall schedules finalized. As most of you are aware, our program is growing and we need additional space! We have plans to expand to a new facility in Ogden in the coming months. Until that time, our schedule is a little tight and we have added some Friday classes. We are grateful we all still have Saturdays off! We did our best to keep most of the core team classes on the same days, as much as possible. Once we have increased capacity, we will have more flexibility in scheduling. We ask for your patience and continued support during this transition time. Our Brigham Studio will remain in operation at the current location.  School begins on August 20-21 for students in the Ogden and Logan areas. We will switch to our fall schedule starting Wednesday, August 20, to minimize interruptions in everyone's routines. Parade clinics start this Thursday (8/7) from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the Brigham Studio. Costume and clinic payment of $125 is NOW DUE . Dancers will be required to provide their own black high top converse. Costume will include black pants that are the warm up bottoms. Please keep these competition worthy so you will only have to purchase a jacket when we order warm ups.  Remember to mark your calendar for the Peach Days parade performance on Saturday, September 6 .
