Reminder Spotlight fees are now due and all team fees must be current in order to have solos registered. Please be sure payments are in. WDFKP is at Taylorsville High School, 5225 S Redwood Road in Taylorsville, March 2-3. Reminder, admission pricing and other competition details are available  here .  There are two stages, one in the gym and one in the auditorium. Note the location at the top of the schedules to know where your dancer is performing Please arrive at least 1.5 hours before your first scheduled performance (or when doors open). The competition may run ahead of schedule and you will need time to park and walk to the venue No filming of photography of any kind No food/drink allowed in the dressing rooms. Brigham Studio Premier & Teen IDC will rehearse at the studio from 4:15-5:15 PM then be excused travel to the high school for the performance. Premier IDC dancers will pick up costumes in the office at 4:00 PM on Thursday. Mini ADP costumes will be handed out at the end of class on Wednesday. In order to pick up costumes, accounts must be at a zero balance. Season VI  | Change Your Perspective  Tour : At Velocity Dance Convention, we are always striving to improve the experience that our attendees have. From dancers and parents to studio owners, it is important to us that you feel that you are getting your money’s worth during a Velocity weekend, as well as investing your time wisely. We want to encourage you to Change Your Perspective on how your children/students take class in a convention setting. Last year we offered dancers from a few of our larger cities the opportunity to experience class in a setting with no observers. The results were fantastic! We discovered that closing classes to observers enabled the students to be less inhibited and

The Thursday competition schedule will be the following for Provo: 1:00pm-5:25pm Mini and Junior: Solo and Duo/Trios Awards: 5:30pm-6:00pm 6:05pm-11:05pm Teen and Senior Solo and Duo/Trios Awards: 11:10pm-11:40pm Watch for the final team competition and convention schedule to be posted soon! Spotlight solo/duo/trio forms are now available in both offices. Registration forms will be accepted Feb. 13-26 at the early registration rate of $110. Forms may be submitted, subject to availability , from Feb. 27-Mar. 1 at the late rate of $135. Several of the other Spotlight events have filled to capacity before the deadline so we are encouraging everyone to register early. NO registrations will be accepted after Mar. 1. Spotlight requires a lot of detailed information. Please be sure to complete EVERY field on the registration form. With over 100 soloists, I am not able to guess or track down missing information. Spotlight also charges a $20 fee per request for every change made after the deadline. Talk with your choreographer if you have any questions about your dancer's registration. Thanks!! 😊😊
