INFINITY DANCE

 We will be combining level 3 and 4 training classes for tonight's schedule. 

  We are so excited to see our rec dancers perform tomorrow evening. Just a few quick reminders. The recital will start at 6pm.  Masks must be worn at all times in our building. If your dancers is performing after intermission, please don't come in the studio until 6:30.  We hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving Break. We are excited to return back to the studio Monday, November 30th. We are going to resume with our normal schedule with the exception of our production hour as we will continue to alternate weeks with Academy and Apex. This Monday will be Academy. We  are still requiring masks in the studio at all times, but dancers may pull down their mask while dancing as long as social distancing is maintained.  Thank you! 

 We have made a few changes for this weeks schedule. *This is just a temporary change to accommodate Thursday classes which are usually missed.  We will resume our normal class schedule November 30th. As a reminder we are wearing masks at all times in the studio, please make sure you bring a mask with you. Drinking fountains are still closed, so please bring you own drink.

 We are so excited to see everyone again Monday, November 16th!! We have a few minor changes to the schedule as well as a few new guidelines to follow. We are hoping with these changes we can avoid another soft closure.  MASKS must be work at ALL TIMES in the studio. This includes while dancing. Please do not forget a mask, we wont be able to have you enter the studio without one.  Please send your dancer with water. Our drinking fountains are still closed. We also ask that you remind your dancers not to share drinks or food.  We will have each team in the same room for all classes.   Wreck Effect (Production) will go to an alternating schedule. This Monday ALL ACADEMY teams will have class. APEX will come next week. We will be on an alternating schedule until further notice.  So if you're on an Apex team, you will not start classes until 5pm tomorrow.   We understand some might not feel comfortable sending your dancer back at this time, We will do our best to get rehearsal routine

We hope you're all doing well and staying healthy. We have costume fees due and I have had many of you reach out and ask how to pay those fees since we are out of the studio this week. We have our online service at  https://app.akadadance.com/customer/login   you can go online and pay (There is a 5% transaction fee for anything besides tuition)  or you can stop by the office this Thursday from 4-6pm and pay in person with a check or cash to avoid the 5% transaction fee. Please remember to social distance in the studio and a mask needs to be worn at all times. 

 Hello Infinity Family,  We have been informed that there may be a chance a few of our teachers have been exposed to Covid. To err on the side of caution, we are going to close down the studio for the week. While we will not physically be in the studio, we do have a structured plan for the week.  Apex, Academy, Ignite and Spark- Your routines classes will be posted on Facebook. To receive credit for your class, you will need to record learned choreography and send it back. All technique and training classes missed can be made up with training Tuesday classes when we return to the studio.  If you're not part of Infinity's Facebook page, please go to Infinity Dance on Facebook and "Like" our page. Comment on the most recent picture with your dancers name and team and we will get you signed up to a private group.  Sparkle and Spunk, Bee Boppers,  Funkey Monkeys, Jeriann's teams . Same Day Productions will be the media vendor this weekend at Hollywood Vibe.  We are so so excited to attend Hollywood Vibe this weekend at the Davis Conference Center in Layton wrist bands and numbers are available at the office for pick up. These must be picked up by a parent no later then Thursday, November 5th.  A pandemic release form must be filled out to attend so please sign that when you pick up your numbers. We also have lanyards for masks provided by Hollywood Vibe to hand out.  Hello Infinity Family,  Although we are unable to do our annual Trunk-or-Treat we are still going to have class dance parties and allow students to wear costumes on their last day of class this week. Example if you dance Monday and Wednesday, wear your costumes on Wednesday. If you only dance Monday, wear your costume that day!  If you would like to bring a treat to share you may also do that. Just make sure it's in a package. Please no homemade treats.

 We are excited to support a fellow director in the dance industry Tia Stokes. Tomorrow is Tia Day!! This will be a day dedicated to her and show love and support as she is going through a unfathomable trial of Cancer, Covid and pneumonia . If you're not familiar with her, Tia is a mom of 5 who spreads her positivity and light through her dancing and has shared her journey with the world through social media outlets like , Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok. Please send your dancers in RED tomorrow to show your support for her! 

We have had a few changes to the choreography schedule for the weekend. Please check the schedule below. (ALL TBD is the production schedule for Saturday)   

Epic Dance convention is coming to Layton at the Davis Conference Center on October 23rd and 24th with  an amazing faculty! They reached out to us and have a few spots left. It's $200 and it includes dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday. You would have to have a chaperone in each level and they would need to be at the director's meeting at 2:00 for covid instructions. Friday the convention goes from 3-8 and Saturday from 8-2:45. Let me know if you're interested in having your dancer attend and could possibly chaperone and we can get you registered! 

 We have a student who is missing a new pair of black cropped Lululemon leggings. Please check your dancers bag and see if they accidentally took them home. If you have them please drop them by the office.  Thank you!

Wreck Effect is on Mondays from 4-5. This will be our production routine this year. Members of Wreck Effect are those on, Sr Apex, Teen Apex, Jr Apex, Sr Academy, Teen Academy, and Jr Academy. We missed 1 small group on the schedule. This class is Academy 4 and will be Wednesday from 5-6pm.  We are excited to have Sabrina Phillip here THIS FRIDAY September 18th 4-5:30  cost of the master class is $25. We only have room for 20 dancers so make sure to notify the office ASAP if you would like to attend.  Sabrina has an open spot to do a solo. This would be a 5 hour slot during the day Friday. We are incredibly excited to have everyone back in the studio beginning Monday September 14th. If you're wanting to take extra training classes on Tuesdays we need to know that too. 3. This is a nationals year for our Apex and Academy dancers. Nationals TBA soon but will be July 3-9th in Vegas or July 5-10 in Anaheim. Nationals is required for out Advanced Dancers and Pre-Professional teams (Apex and Academy) If for some reason you're unable to commit to this we need to know ASAP.  4. We will be in the studio tomorrow from 4-6 pm to do registration we ask that you wear a mask when attending.
