Introducing...McKenna Lynch!

We are so excited to welcome several new faculty members this season and are pleased to begin our introductions with McKenna Lynch!!


McKenna has grown up in her family owned dance studio in Vernal, UT where dance has played an important part of her life and has taught her more than just steps. McKenna is trained in and loves to teach all styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Clogging, and Hip Hop. Choreographing is her joy and she has been hired all over from Washington, to New Mexico, and has won many choreography awards. She has had the opportunity of working with world renowned choreographers including Mia Michaels and Tabitha and Napolean. McKenna’s dreams came true when she auditioned for the hit T.V show “So you think you can dance” (season 8) and got a ticket to Vegas!

McKenna has held many titles such as 1st attendant to Miss Utah 2011 where she also won the preliminary talent award. She represented Utah at the National Sweetheart Pageant and placed in the Top Ten out of the fifty states. She now judges and choreographs for pageants in the Miss America program. Competing in pageants has shaped McKenna into the person she is today. She is a motivational keynote speaker and travels to speak to youth about confidence and self-worth. She hopes to start her own non -profit organization and continue to help girls see their own potential and the amazing women that they can become.

McKenna has just been hired on as head choreographer for Windstorm Theater, on off-Broadway theater company. She is also often hired as a guest choreographer at many workshops. She works with school dance and drill teams and this spring her Dance choreography took 1st at Nationals in Florida! McKenna has a lot of hobbies including, writing, rock climbing, trap shooting and caving. She also loves to model and book runway shows. McKenna is recently married and lives Salt Lake City, UT and loves being a wife.

Competition Hair

Hair is to be very straight with bangs pulled back and pinned with rhinestone bobby pins in a small bump (not large like last year) in the middle of the head. Part hair at the top of ears and pull back in a half pony and secure with rhinestone pony holder. The rest of the hair in the back is to be straight down long.
