Ogden IDC Dress Rehearsal - Thursday

Ogden IDC dancers will have dress rehearsal Thursday, March 3, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Please come in during regular office hours on WEDNESDAY night to pick up costumes. Costumes must be picked up by a parent and accounts must be current to receive your items.

Come with hair and makeup done :)
Everyone will receive new competition earrings
Everyone needs eyelashes (except for Tiny IDC and Mini IPC)

Hairstyle
For all IDC, IPC and ITC teams. (This is the same style as last year.) The pouf is achieved by parting the bangs into a triangle that meets int he top middle of the head. Back comb all of the hair except for the front 1/2 inch section that will fold over the top to hide teasing. Secure with a clear elastic and criss cross bobby pins that match the hair. Use a little aerosol hairspray for a firm hold and slick the remainder of the hair into a mid back of the head straight pony tail. Finish by securely pinning any loose hair with bobby pins and using a layer of shine hairspray. Bobby pins and elastics MUST match haircolor. If your hair is short, extensions are preferred but MUST be tightly secured.

Recommended Make up for Dancers
Eye make up in neutral tones. Start with a dark brown v-shape in the outer corners and light tan/gold on the lower lid. Finish eyes with a light upper lid liner in a thin line with a little lift at the end. All dancers are encouraged to wear blush. Suggested dusty pink shades through the middle of the cheek with a light lift along the cheekbone. Suggested true red lipstick (not long wearing) to add color to lips.

Extra things to remember
  • Nude bras with clear shoulder and back straps (if you want to wear a bra)
  • Mark your name/initials in ALL your items :)
  • Bring extra safety and bobby pins
