Mandy is inviting all dancers to consider donating to an Infinity giving tree this year in lieu of a class gift exchange. All proceeds from the tree will benefit one of our own Infinity families struggling with serious medical needs. If your dancer would like to share in this season of giving, suggested donations include: items for family activities, restaurant or movie passes, visa cards, gift cards and cash for transportation and medical expenses. Dancers will be celebrating with a team party the last night of regular classes and may bring a treat to share (optional). Giving Tree donations are being accepted at both studio offices through 12/21 and we sincerely appreciate everyone who is willing to join in the blessings of the season!!

A message from McKenna: Just a reminder that dancers performing in the Nutcracker Redux need to be at Kingsbury Hall at  8:45 am  to prepare for onstage rehearsals from  9:00-10:00 am.  The show will start at  11:00 . Remember, this is not a performance for parents to attend, it’s a performance for elementary school children only. Thanks!

  NO regular classes will be held at either studio Dec. 22 – Jan. 1.  Classes will resume at both studios on Tuesday, January 2, to prepare for upcoming competitions. We hope you enjoy your time off with family and friends!!

Please note the following important change to the Studio competition schedule: IPC, IDC and ADP teams will be competing at an event in Ogden on March 9-10 instead of the Relevé competition on March 16-17. Be sure to update this on your calendars. Payments for Relevé will be credited toward the March 9-10 event. This is a closer venue with lower competition fees. Relevé has openings at their solo event on January 19-20, if you would still like to compete at their competition  https://relevedc.com/events/riverton-ut/ . If you would like to compete your solo at WDFKP or Hall of Fame, please complete a solo form and return it with payment to the office as soon as possible. Solos will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. WDFKP deadline is Dec. 6. Be advised there may be a limit on solos at Hall of Fame. You will be notified if routines are limited.  Forms are available at both the Brigham and Ogden Offices.  As with all competitions, team fees must be paid first in order to have solos registered. We are so excited for our Nutcracker Redux performance at Weber State this  Saturday, December 2, at 7:30 ! Odyssey has given us a 20% discount to use for families with a child dancing in the show. Call the ticket office at  801-626-8500  to purchase your tickets with the discount.  Below is some important information for the day of the performance.  Party Girls Please arrive at  4:00  to be ready for our onstage rehearsal with the cast from  4:30-5:30 . It's really important to be on time and ready to go so we can get all the staging done with the cast within that hour. Party Girls should provide their own outfits. Wear anything that you would wear to a family Christmas party. Make sure the girls can dance comfortably in their clothes and that they have a pocket to put their cell phones in because they will pull them out onstage. Hair and make up can be of your choice, just make sure it looks nice and is stage-ready. Hair and makeup don't have to be all the way fini

Infinity dancers have been invited to be in the children's cast for Odyssey's Nutcracker Redux Ogden performance on  December 2 .  A uditions will be held Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 6-7 p.m.  for both the Mario (general ages 8-12) and the Party Girl (general ages 12+) cast at the Ogden Studio. Dancers must be able to fit in the costumes provided so some height restrictions may apply. If you are interested in being involved in this awesome opportunity, all dancers MUST be available for practices TBD. A message from Penny with Will Dance for Kids Project:   Hundreds of dancers will be BATTLING to fight childhood hunger on Sat. Nov. 11, 2017 from 11:00 am—3:00 pm at the Gallivan Center for the 2017 PEANUT BUTTER JAMM. This event is the fundraising kickoff for Will Dance For Kids Project to benefit the Utah Food Bank’s Backpack Program, Kid’s Cafe and Mobile Family Pantries.  Last year over 63,000 backpacks were filled with kid friendly meals for weekends so no child goes to bed hungry! The event is sponsored by Will Dance For Kids Project, Chick-fil-A, Utah Jazz, UDO & The Fed!  It promises to be a fun & exciting day of dance battles featuring lots of amazing Hip Hop crews. The Director of Will Dance for Kids Project has invited Infinity dancers to participate in the annual Peanut Butter JAMM, a charity event to help the Utah Food Bank feed hungry children. More info is available  here . This is an optional opportunity. Dancers are welcome to battle, attend the master class or just watch and cheer at the event! If you choose to participate, please be sure the date doesn't conflict with any studio commitments. Thanks!!

We know TONS of you have beautiful, gently-used costumes that you no longer need! Here’s your chance to get them out of boxes and closets and bring them to the Ogden Office before October 4 th to be sold on our Costume Swap Day. All costumes must be hung on a white hanger, clearly marked with a tag including your name, phone number, size and price. There will be a 10% consignment fee. Come in and shop during the Intensive October 7 th from 10 AM-4 PM. Cash or check ONLY the day of sale. We hope this helps you sell and/or find a new costume for a great price!!

THRILLER INFORMATION It's almost time for our first show! Here are some details about what to expect for the onstage rehearsals and performance on Saturday. Reminder: if you haven’t signed your release waiver for Kingsbury Hall please bring it to the performance tonight and give it to me. I’ll be mailing them in on Monday morning. Chucky Cast You will need to arrive at 4:00 pm. We will meet in the auditorium at Weber University Browning Center. Please only send in your dancer, no parents allowed. You will be taken to a dressing room to get sized for your Chucky costumes and wigs. In order for the wigs to be secure, please come with your hair in tight french braids so it can be easily tucked under the wig. We will be given a lesson on how to do the Chucky makeup. Please bring: Your plastic knife prop  black liquid eye liner red lipstick Wig cap (if possible) Black camisole/sports bra for under the costume Black knee high socks Once we are ready we will begin our spaci

For the D4D dance... Call time for dancers is 3:45. Dancers must be there on TIME !!  Full rehearsal is 5:45 and the show starts at 6:30. Dancer participating have a $20 performance fee/donation. Dancers participating in the D4D Infinity Video should wear all black for the video recording. Please bring your black pieces with you in the morning so you can change and get ready right after the workshop. The video rehearsal and shoot will be after the TamJams training. Reminder the price has been reduced to just $75!! Be sure you have registered for the workshop  here. The Elite Performance Training Workshop is open to all Infinity dancers ages 10 & up. See the rehearsal and filming time below for those  in the D4D video. There are still several students who MISSED Full Out and have not yet registered for the workshop.
