Peanut Butter JAMM Invitation - NOV 11

A message from Penny with Will Dance for Kids Project:
Hundreds of dancers will be BATTLING to fight childhood hunger on Sat. Nov. 11, 2017 from 11:00 am—3:00 pm at the Gallivan Center for the 2017 PEANUT BUTTER JAMM. This event is the fundraising kickoff for Will Dance For Kids Project to benefit the Utah Food Bank’s Backpack Program, Kid’s Cafe and Mobile Family Pantries.  Last year over 63,000 backpacks were filled with kid friendly meals for weekends so no child goes to bed hungry!

The event is sponsored by Will Dance For Kids Project, Chick-fil-A, Utah Jazz, UDO & The Fed!  It promises to be a fun & exciting day of dance battles featuring lots of amazing Hip Hop crews. Entrance to the Nov 11 PEANUT BUTTER JAMM is a jar of peanut butter & $10 donation.

We will kick off this exciting event with the help of Chick-fil-A & The Utah Jazz at the Utah Jazz vs Portland Trail Blazers game at the Vivint Smart Home Arena on Nov. 1, 2017.  Everyone who brings a jar of peanut butter to the Vivint Smart Home Arena will get a coupon for a FREE sandwich meal at any Utah Chick-fil-A!  Our goal is to collect 10,000 jars of peanut butter at the Utah Jazz / Chick-fil-A Peanut Butter JAMM night!

Will Dance for Kids Project has donated $265,000 and over 36,000 lbs of food in the past six years to the Kid’s Programs at UFB.  Since every $1 is worth $7.81 in goods & services to the Utah Food Bank, the value of this donation is over $2 million dollars to help feed hungry kids in our state.

Please share this information on social media and ask your friends to do the same as we BATTLE CHILDHOOD HUNGER in Utah. Since 1 in 5 Utah kids do not know where their next meal will come from, the need is great!
