We will be performing at Weber State University Spirit Squad Nationals Send Off on March 30 at the Dee Events Center : Uprising Growing Up is Hard EW! Beautiful Mess 2K16 The show starts at 7:00 PM. Please arrive READY TO GO by 6:15. Admission is $5 for spectators; WSU students with a student ID and children under 8 are free! There is very limited dressing room space. Please come as ready to go as possible. Dancers - wear your warm ups for admission.  In the past, performers have taken the Portal 19 stairs down to floor level and warmed up in the main tunnel. We will post any additional info that becomes available to us. The following routines are being requested for registration with Spotlight. Please let me know if any changes need to be made ASAP by e-mailing infinitydanceinfo@gmail.com. The deadline for changes through our Studio is Sunday, 3/26, at 5:00 p.m. Please be sure your dancer's information is correct and you understand the division in which they are registered. Spotlight charges a $20 fee (payable at time of request) for any changes made after the deadline and late change requests must be paid directly to Spotlight. Spotlight competition fees are now PAST DUE. Late fees will be added on Thursday, March 23. Celebrity fees will be due next week for all ADP and IDC teams and will be the last competition payment of the regular season. YAY!!!

The following solo/duos have been registered for Celebrity. Please note the following: DIVISIONS: There are nine age divisions in all categories. Please read the age requirements to evaluate where your competition groups will be placed. Mini Division: 3 – 4.99 Pre-junior Division: 5 – 6.99 Junior Division: 7 – 8.99 Intermediate Division: 9 – 10.99 Preteen Division: 11 – 12.99 Teen Division: 13 – 14.99 Senior Division: 15 – 16.99 Premier Division: 17 – 19.99 Adult Division: 20 & up Age is determined by actual age as of January 1 of that competition year. Age is an average of all competitors within that number. All ages should be added together then divided by the number of performers to determine placement. Plan to attend David's classes tomorrow at the Ogden Studio. If you have missed dance in the last few months, classes will count as make ups. These classes are HIGHLY recommended for dancers of all levels. This is a great way to hone your technique and get ready for competitions, auditions and performances. We are in the process of determining which numbers will be competing at nationals. The general plan is to take all advanced routines that have placed in overalls at nationally-ranked events. All dancers are invited to attend the convention with the Studio, even if they don’t have team routines competing. Watch for more information to be posted soon!!

The Studio is planning to attend Velocity nationals in July!! More information is available here . Start making your travel plans now if you will be attending!Kassie choreographed a new small group number for nationals. Dancers who auditioned and were selected for the routine have been notified via message from Kassie. This was a VERY hard choice for Kassie and she wanted to let everyone know age was a big factor due to the division in which the routine will compete. Thanks!!

IPC teams will have dress rehearsal in each rehearsal class next week. Costumes will be sent home in the last rehearsal class of the week with hair and make up instructions. Be sure your account is at a zero balance and all competition and accessory fees have been paid. T hanks!!

Music must be emailed in mp3 format for this competition. If you have previously sent mp3 music, you do not need to send it again. Please be sure you have paid for all team and solo/duo fees on your account to complete your registration. Be advised that solos will be on Thursday, May 11, and Friday, May 12, between the hours of 3:30 and 9:45 p.m. for this competition. The director has promised to minimize time missed from school and to have awards done by 10 p.m. on the weeknight. The Celebrity competition is full and no more solos will be accepted ☹. We have a number of routines on the wait list and hope to have more information in the next few days if they will be accepted into the event.
