Celebrity Solo Competition Info.

The following solo/duos have been registered for Celebrity. Please note the following:
DIVISIONS: There are nine age divisions in all categories. Please read the age requirements to evaluate where your competition groups will be placed.

Mini Division: 3 – 4.99

Pre-junior Division: 5 – 6.99
Junior Division: 7 – 8.99
Intermediate Division: 9 – 10.99
Preteen Division: 11 – 12.99
Teen Division: 13 – 14.99
Senior Division: 15 – 16.99
Premier Division: 17 – 19.99
Adult Division: 20 & up

Age is determined by actual age as of January 1 of that competition year. Age is an average of all competitors within that number. All ages should be added together then divided by the number of performers to determine placement.

Be advised that solos will be on Thursday, May 11, and Friday, May 12, between the hours of 3:30 and 9:45 p.m. for this competition. The Celebrity Director has promised to minimize time missed from school and to have awards done by 10 p.m. on the weeknight. If you have registered and are not able to compete on Thursday or Friday, please let me know so your routine can be cancelled.

Competition Hair

Hair is to be very straight with bangs pulled back and pinned with rhinestone bobby pins in a small bump (not large like last year) in the middle of the head. Part hair at the top of ears and pull back in a half pony and secure with rhinestone pony holder. The rest of the hair in the back is to be straight down long.
