 We are so excited to welcome Becky Erickson to our studio Saturday, August 22nd for a Ballet Intensive. 


We will have 2 class times to offer and classes are limited to 15 students per class. cost is $20 per student.  

9:30am-11am  Intermediate ages 8-11 

11am-12:30pm Advanced ages 12 and up (younger advanced dancers may be approved to take this class)

    Becky has graced the stage as a principal ballerina since the young age of 18. Becky primarily trained with the Cache Valley School of Ballet in Logan Utah, after graduating from the CVSB’s Sandy Emile syllabus she had further training with Dance West's Maggie Moore, NYCBs Jonathan Stafford, Ballet West, Inishfre Irish Dance, and the Northwest Dance Intensive's Jehrin Alexandria. Becky has performed for many professional and community theatres including: Cache Community Theatre, Cache Valley Civic Ballet, Utah Festival Chorus, Inishfre Irish Dance (performed locally in Utah and on Tour) and Fox 13’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” competing in Las Vegas for Season 8. And yes she has met all the judges.

     

  • Sugar-Plum-Fish

    Becky has performed many roles; some of her favorites include: Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen (The Nutcracker,) Lilac Fairy, Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Cinderella (Cinderella), Alice (Alice in Wonderland), Swanilda (Coppelia), Princess Helena (Firebird), Lucy, Nina, Lead Vampire (Dracula), The Rose (Beauty And The Beast), Paquita (Paquita), Kitri (Don Quixote), and Odile (Swan Lake).  Becky is also a professional judge for the Utah Dance Fest, going on 7 years as an adjudicator. Becky has set traditional Choreography as well as her own choreography for many productions over the years, including Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Nutcracker and CVCB’s Choreographer’s Showcase. 

    Upon finishing her principal ballet career Becky wanted to improve her teaching even more and apprenticed with world renowned ballet Master Philip Beamish- former ballet master to La Scala, Royale Winnipeg Ballet, Bolshoi Brazil and Teatro Colon Argentina- studying his specific training method; Beamish Bodymind Balancing.  Becky has been teaching since 2001, she has taught every age group from toddlers to adults. Her passion for dancing shines through her teaching as you see her inspire the next generation to become their best.  Becky is also a professional model recently returning from the Pas De Deux Dance Photography Conference as well as the cover model for the book titled "Dance Across the USA."

    Becky resides in Providence, Utah with her Husband and three beautiful children.

Competition Hair

Hair is to be very straight with bangs pulled back and pinned with rhinestone bobby pins in a small bump (not large like last year) in the middle of the head. Part hair at the top of ears and pull back in a half pony and secure with rhinestone pony holder. The rest of the hair in the back is to be straight down long.
