Competition Hair & Make Up Info.

Competition HAIRSTYLE for all teams is a STRAIGHT middle pony with hair slicked and parted on the left. The only hair accessory is the rhinestone pony holder (no rhinestone bobby pins this year). Please slick hair in front and pin with regular bobby pins to match your hair color. Use gel or product as needed so there are NO flyaways. If your hair is not long enough to put in a pony, slick and part on the left and pin back on the sides so all bangs and hair in front is secured off of the face.

Remember, PERFORMANCE MAKE UP includes foundation, brown tones of eye shadow, black eyeliner, false eyelashes, blush, and bright red lipstick with shiny gloss or liplock.

REMOVE ALL NAIL POLISH on finger and toenails

MAKE sure you have all SHOES AND TIGHTS and a nude bra with clear straps, if needed.

Introducing...McKenna Lynch!

We are so excited to welcome several new faculty members this season and are pleased to begin our introductions with McKenna Lynch!! McKenna has grown up in her family owned dance studio in Vernal, UT where dance has played an important part of her life and has taught her more than just steps. McKenna is trained in and loves to teach all styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Clogging, and Hip Hop. Choreographing is her joy and she has been hired all over from Washington, to New Mexico, and has won many choreography awards. She has had the opportunity of working with world renowned choreographers including Mia Michaels and Tabitha and Napolean. McKenna’s dreams came true when she auditioned for the hit T.V show “So you think you can dance” (season 8) and got a ticket to Vegas! Missing Red Fly Girl Lip Sense

If you found a red lip sense (fly girl) that was left behind at the WDFKP or Aspire competition, please contact the Ogden office. It’s almost brand new and both mom and dancer will be so grateful if you find it!! Thanks for your help!! 😊

Spotlight Solos/Duos/Trios Open FEB 13-26

Spotlight solo/duo/trio forms are now available in both offices. Registration forms will be accepted Feb. 13-26 at the early registration rate of $110. Forms may be submitted, subject to availability , from Feb. 27-Mar. 1 at the late rate of $135. Several of the other Spotlight events have filled to capacity before the deadline so we are encouraging everyone to register early. NO registrations will be accepted after Mar. 1. Spotlight requires a lot of detailed information. Please be sure to complete EVERY field on the registration form. With over 100 soloists, I am not able to guess or track down missing information. Spotlight also charges a $20 fee per request for every change made after the deadline. Talk with your choreographer if you have any questions about your dancer's registration. Thanks!! 😊😊
