2012-2012 Company Auditions

Reminder Team Auditions for the 2012-2013 season will be held on May 14th & 15th at the Ogden Studio and May 17th & 18th at the Brigham City Studio. Everyone interested in dancing on a team is invited and encouraged to attend! Be sure to bring your friends, too! We have teams for ages 4 and up at all ability levels. Companies are a great way to expand your dance experience! If you are not trying out for a team, regular classes will be held during this time. Team requirements will be available to review prior to auditions. Please bring a wallet-sized photo (head shot, if possible). Cost is $20 for registered students and $30 for non-registered students.

Wear comfortable dance attire (hot shorts and fitted tanks, dance tops, and jazz shoes suggested - no "street" clothes, please) and hair pulled up or back. *Dancers auditioning for ADP teams will also need ballet shoes.

*Dancers auditioning for Junior, Teen, or Senior ADP will be required to attend auditions all 4 days, Monday and Tuesday in Ogden AND Thursday and Friday in Brigham. ADP teams will also dance at least one day per week at each Studio.

Day 1 - Dancers will do across the floor work and learn a short combo
Day 2 - Review the combo learned on Day 1 and then audition in small groups

Audition Schedule
4:00 - 6:00 p.m. (ages 4 to 7)
4:00 - 7:00 p.m. (ages 8 to 11)
6:00 - 9:00 p.m. (ages 12 and up)

Competition Hair

Hair is to be very straight with bangs pulled back and pinned with rhinestone bobby pins in a small bump (not large like last year) in the middle of the head. Part hair at the top of ears and pull back in a half pony and secure with rhinestone pony holder. The rest of the hair in the back is to be straight down long.
