Will Dance for Food Competition Information

We hope to be receiving a competition schedule very soon. Here is the information we have so far:

WILL DANCE FOR FOOD COMPETITION 2015
March 6-7, 2015 at Taylorsville High School
5225 Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT 84123

Solos will be on Friday starting at 3:30 p.m. Awards are scheduled from 9:15-10:30 p.m.

Team competition will start on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Early awards for teams competing up to 2:00 p.m. are scheduled mid-afternoon. The competition will resume after early awards and a lunch break and final awards are scheduled from 8:15-9:45 p.m.

GENERAL COMPETITION GUIDELINES
  • General Admission: $6 Adults $5 Ages 4-18 $10 2 day pass $4 Seniors (65+) Kids under 4 free.
  • **NO VIDEO TAPING OR PHOTOGRAPHY OF ANY KIND. A professional video company will be taping the competition. PLEASE INFORM YOUR PARENTS OF THIS.
  • Audience will be able to enter and exit between numbers. Doors are closed during performances.
  • Dancers should act in an appropriate manner at all times. This includes dressing rooms, backstage, on stage and in the audience. Parents & audience members should do the same.
A detailed schedule will be posted as soon as we receive it. Costumes will be ready around March 2 and hair/make up instructions will also be provided at that time. We can't wait to see all our dancers shine!!

Competition Hair

Hair is to be very straight with bangs pulled back and pinned with rhinestone bobby pins in a small bump (not large like last year) in the middle of the head. Part hair at the top of ears and pull back in a half pony and secure with rhinestone pony holder. The rest of the hair in the back is to be straight down long.
