Hollywood Vibe Regionals Info.

Hollywood Vibe has made some changes to their events this season. Please be aware of the changes when attending any regional conventions/competitions. 

We are excited to let you know about some new things we will be offering this season at Hollywood Vibe!

**NEW THIS YEAR***

We at Hollywood Vibe would love to encourage each dancer to express themselves and develop their artistry.  We are excited to create an Improv Video Dance Challenge for all attending dancers.

Below are the rules.

-Must be no longer than 1 min.

-Location must be in the event city (hotel or locations around the city)

-Submit by Sunday night of the event weekend by using the #HVvideochallenge

-Winner will be announced the Wednesday after event weekend

-We will be awarding a Cash Prize!!

-Be sure to tag your self and use the # on Instagram!

*Set your Account to Public.  Private accounts can not be accessed.

**NEW THIS YEAR***

As we have done for the past years in creating our city highlight videos, we would like to capture this from the dancers/teachers/parents perspective!

*Thus we would love for you capture footage from Hollywood Vibe that you shoot in class, pre-function areas, in the hotel , city, and use the #hollywoodvibe & tag @hollywoodvibe.

*Be Creative and your footage may be chosen to appear in our city highlight videos that are shown at the end of the weekend and on social media!

*Be sure not to shoot competition routines though!

We have updated our scoring system this year to include the follow Judging Criteria:

TECHNIQUE- 30 POINTS

PERFORMANCE- 30 POINTS

CHOREOGRAPHY- 20 POINTS

OVERALL IMPRESSION- 10 POINTS

MUSIC/COSTUMING- 10 POINTS

We have also updated the Awards Classification:

VIBE AWARD- 100%-98%

PLATINUM- 97.5%-94.5%

HIGH GOLD- 94%-91.5%

GOLD- 91%-89.5%

HIGH SILVER- 89%-85.5%

SILVER- 85%-82%

BRONZE- 81%-79%
