Dare 2 Dance Competition Schedule and Info.

A message from the D2D Director:
We are so close and I am so excited to see all of you and your amazing dancers!
The event starts at 3:30 pm on Friday - Doors will open at 3:00 pm (no earlier)
The event starts at 8:00 am on Saturday – Doors will open at 6:30 am

Heads up on parking..... The driving range on Saturday morning is closed until 10:00 am.  Gym teams do not start competing until 11:00 am to help with parking lot congestion. Teams competition in the gym will have a 10:00 am call time so there will be additional parking. 

Everyone else arrive an hour and half before your first scheduled routine, or when doors open.

Friday evening the girls locker room will be for available for all solo girls competing.  The Boys locker room will be available for all boys competing. There are no boys or dads allowed in dressing rooms designated for teams on Saturday. There is a designated dressing room for all Boys on Saturday.   

Stage studios the backstage dressing rooms will be available for quick changes ONLY. Please do not allow your dancers to camp out in this area.  It needs to be for quick changes only.  This area is open to ALL Stage studios that have fast changes in between numbers so don’t leave bags or items in this area.

Dressing Room Assignments for Saturday: East Balcony (Lower Gym) - Infinity

Concessions will be available for sale by the Royalaires as a fundraiser. Please no outside food or drink. 

Admission: There will be a 2-day pass available for $10 or a single day pass for $7

All dancers/teachers must wear their wristbands or they will be charged to get in. If dancers/teachers loses their wristband, they will be charged for entry. These will be handed out at the studio during the week. Watch for more info.

We are so excited to welcome several new faculty members this season and are pleased to begin our introductions with McKenna Lynch!! McKenna has grown up in her family owned dance studio in Vernal, UT where dance has played an important part of her life and has taught her more than just steps. McKenna is trained in and loves to teach all styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Clogging, and Hip Hop. Choreographing is her joy and she has been hired all over from Washington, to New Mexico, and has won many choreography awards. She has had the opportunity of working with world renowned choreographers including Mia Michaels and Tabitha and Napolean. McKenna’s dreams came true when she auditioned for the hit T.V show “So you think you can dance” (season 8) and got a ticket to Vegas!
