Transcend Improv Competition Opportunity

This is very last minute but I wanted to share this opportunity with our dancers attending Transcend. I have to submit this by tomorrow morning at 9am. Please email infinitydanceinfo@gmail.com ASAP if you would like your dancer to participate. The cost of this is $125.

Improv Competition:

The improv competition is a separate category for soloists ages 12&up. Dancers will receive a playlist of possible songs 1 week before the event, and one will be chosen at random. The dancer will be asked to perform a full 2 minute improvisation routine, which will be critiqued and judged based on a different set of parameters from the regular competition. This is a great way for dancers to push out of their comfort zone and most leave the stage with a new found confidence! As a reminder, an improv solo can be entered in addition to a dancer’s regular solo(s).

Introducing...McKenna Lynch!

We are so excited to welcome several new faculty members this season and are pleased to begin our introductions with McKenna Lynch!! McKenna has grown up in her family owned dance studio in Vernal, UT where dance has played an important part of her life and has taught her more than just steps. McKenna is trained in and loves to teach all styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Clogging, and Hip Hop. Choreographing is her joy and she has been hired all over from Washington, to New Mexico, and has won many choreography awards. She has had the opportunity of working with world renowned choreographers including Mia Michaels and Tabitha and Napolean. McKenna’s dreams came true when she auditioned for the hit T.V show “So you think you can dance” (season 8) and got a ticket to Vegas! If you found a red lip sense (fly girl) that was left behind at the WDFKP or Aspire competition, please contact the Ogden office. It’s almost brand new and both mom and dancer will be so grateful if you find it!! Thanks for your help!! 😊
