The following teams will be competing at Hollywood Vibe: Ogden Elite Company, Brigham and Ogden Senior Companies, and Sr. and Elite ADP. Please check the competition schedule for payment due dates.

January 18 & 19 has been scheduled for choreography for Alan's hip hop. This is an optional routine . If you choose to participate, p lease be advised this will involve a n extra costume fee and additional rehearsals may be required. This routine won't compete at Hollywood Vibe and will be ready for our March and April competitions. Thanks!

Please note: The Dance for Life competition has been scratched and we are tentatively replacing it with Spotlight Hollywood Vibe only has one level (advanced) for competition. All companies will be attending the convention and the teams who compete in the advanced division will be registered for the competition Recital dates are posted at the bottom of the list to get on your calendar! *Prices are subject to change. Some events have not updated price lists for 2013 yet but use this as a guide for planning. Remember, Hollywood Vibe fees are due on Jan. 3. No classes will be held at either Studio during the Christmas Break, Dec. 24 - Jan. 1.

We are heading in to competition season with only about 9-10 weeks of rehearsals left before our first event! We know everyone will be busy with the upcoming holidays but please remember the importance of making the most of every practice. Be aware that we will likely have a few Saturday rehearsals in order to prepare for Hollywood Vibe.  Also, plan for upcoming convention/competition fees that will be due  as soon as we come back in January .  Important Solo Info - Remember to pay your Studio Rental Fee. This should have been paid prior to starting your solo. Also, the Ogden Studio is NOT available for solo rehearsals on Sundays before 1:00 p.m. This time has been designated for cleaning. Be sure to talk with your choreographer to determine at which events you plan to compete your solo. Attention Sr. & Elite ADP: Ballroom shoes have been ordered and arrived but only a few people have paid for them, so far. Total due is $51.41*. Make payment directly TO Carrie, not the Studio. Please bring your money ASAP so she can distribute them and the girls can practice in the correct shoes. THANKS!! We hope you all had an awesome time at Dance Fever! The choreographers were amazing and the faculty told Mandy over and over how impressed they were with all our dancers! The master class with Jeffery Louizia and Eldon Johnson has been rescheduled!! Plan to attend on Monday, Nov. 5, from 7:00-9:30 p.m. This will be an amazing class and we are so lucky to have this opportunity right at the Ogden Studio for only $20!! All intermediate and advanced dancers are invited to attend! You won't want to miss this one so be sure to tell your friends and get in on the fun!!

Remember Dance Fever is this weekend! If you volunteered to be a room mom, please make sure to contact your girls and make transportation arrangements. If your dancer is attending with a chaperon, please send money for gas and food with your student. Dinner will be provided Friday night. Dancers will provide their own snacks for both days and breakfast, lunch, and (possibly dinner) on Saturday. Get ready for a super fun weekend!

ALL ADP, Company, and Company 2 dancers are required to attend the Dance Fever Convention in Provo on October 26 & 27. Tiny Company is required to attend Friday only (Jumpstarts) and encouraged to attend both days. Tiny Tots and Tiny Prep are encouraged to attend on Friday. Payment and hotel information is now PAST DUE and late fees are being posted to accounts.  $185 for 2-day and $100 for 1-day only. T-shirt and dinner on Friday night is included in this cost!  If you are planning to share a room and want your reservation made through the Studio, please contact the office immediately. Rooms are filling up fast. If you don't request a room through the office, you will be expected to make your own lodging arrangements. Call the office if you have any questions. The Pulse is coming to Las Vegas November 17 & 18. We will not be performing a group routine this year; however, several dancers are planning to attend. If  10 or more students participate, we can register through the Studio as a group and receive a small tuition discount. The standard tuition rate is currently $245 for individuals. Fall Classes begin at both Studios on Monday, September 10. There are still openings in most of the Ogden Studio recreational classes so tell your friends they can come in and register this week! The Brigham Studio has very limited availability so call to see which classes still have openings at (435) 723-1909. We can't wait to see everyone coming back and getting to know our new students!!

Please remember to register in advance if you plan to attend the Dance with the Judges workshop on September 15, even if you are attending only half day. The Director needs merchandise and lunch counts. Be sure to get your registration in no later than Wednesday, Sept. 12. Cost of workshop will increase by $10 at the door. Don't miss out on the fun!!

It was announced in the summer that additional classes would be added in the fall so each company would have their own individual technique, hip hop, and ballet class: Tiny Company-Ballet Wed. 6:00-7:00 p.m. Jr. Company 2-Technique Tues. 8:00-9:00 p.m. Jr. Company 2-Ballet Wed. 4:00-5:00 p.m.                     

Reminder - Hair is to be slicked back and pulled in a messy bun on top of the head. Please make sure bun is SECURE with no fly-a-ways or pieces that will fall. Wear mascara, blush, and red lipstick. The ONLY acceptable jewelry is rhinestone stud earrings and Dylan bracelets. Wear a black sports bra under the tank and black hot shorts or boy shorts under your harem pants. Also, please tend to your feet and cover any blisters or sore spots with bandages.  Bring your smiles and enthusiasm!! Rock it, dancers!!

The Brigham Studio will be open for registration on Saturday, September 8, from 3-5 p.m. Please share this info with any friends wanting fall recreational classes. We only have a few openings left so register now to ensure a spot!

Peach Days Parade - Saturday, Sept. 8. We are #74 and our check in station is E-5. This is near the corner of 500 South and Main Street. Please enter from 200 East and 600 South. Our vehicle is required to be there at 8:30 a.m. Dancers line up by Standard Plumbing at 9:00 a.m. Main Street will be closed so plan on parking several blocks to the east and walking to the check in station to drop off dancers. The parade ends at 600 North. Please make arrangements to pick up your dancer immediately after they reach the end of the parade route. Dancers must be picked up by a parent within 5 minutes of finishing or have note giving permission for other arrangements.

Daydream Believer rehearsal - Thurs, Sept. 6, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Dream a Little Dream rehearsal - Sat, Sept. 8, 4:30 p.m. All routines that are performing on Peach Days (Power, Attic, Hi-Yah, Daydream Believer, Dream a Little Dream) need to meet at the Brigham Studio READY TO GO at 4:30 p.m. The Studio will be open earlier if you want to come and do hair and make up there but you MUST be ready to perform by 4:30 when we start running routines. We will walk together from the Studio directly to the performance.

Dance with the Judges is offering a 1/2 date rate for Infinity dancers only who are involved in the temple rehearsals in the morning and still want to participate in the workshop. Cost is only $50 for 3 full hours of instruction plus Q&A, lunch, and a gift! Take advantage of this awesome opportunity!

Reminder - The following routines will be performing at Peach Days on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 6:00 p.m. :  Power, Attic, Daydream Believer, Hi-Yah, Dream a Little Dream and selected solos. MEET at the Brigham Studio at 4:30 p.m. to get ready and mark routines. Main Street will be closed. Plan to park several blocks away and walk to the Studio. We will go as a group to the performance.

Reminder:  Parade practices Tues, Wed, and Thurs, (Sept. 4-6) from 4:00-6:00 p.m.   All rehearsals this week will be held in the old Indian school area so the dancers can practice on the pavement and build up their endurance. Wear sunscreen and the shoes you will be dancing in for parade to break them in. Also, bring water and a light snack. Meet at the corner in front of the Room Loft furniture store, 1000 South 475 East. If you are coming off the freeway, exit on 1100 South and turn left on Main Street. Get immediately into the right-hand lane and turn right (east towards the mountains) at 1000 South (Autozone and Burger King are on this corner). Head straight for 4 blocks. You will see the Room Loft directly on the right. PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TRAVEL TIME! There is a LOT of traffic in this area due to the temple open house and construction at the Main Street intersection. The dancers will be leaving the meeting location and marching on the back streets in the area. You will have

Remember the Peach Days Parade Rehearsal on  Thur, Aug. 30, - 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is a mandatory practice to finish choreography.  We will be meeting at the Brigham Studio for all dancers to review and finalize choreography placements. I just received information that the dancers performing tonight at DanceFest WILL BE REQUIRED to purchase a ticket. The organizer apologized for this and hopes to be able to cover the cost for future performances. Please text and spread to word to other dancers on your team so they will know they need a ticket. Wed., August 22. Please arrive with hair & makeup done and ready to go at 5:30 p.m. We are hoping to mark the stage before the performance. Routines to be performed: Power, Hi-Yah, and Attic Scera Shell Outdoor Theater, 699 South State Street, Orem, in Scera Park Pre-show starts at 7:00 p.m. and the main event at 8:00 p.m. We are performing in the pre-show. T icket prices range from $14-$20 based on seating.  225-ARTS, www.scera.org. The show is outdoors. Bring chairs if you aren't sitting in the reserved seating section. Light jackets or blankets are also suggested. The SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre features festival seating on a grassy slope, with designated sections for chair and blankets. There are also reserved and general admission areas. Patrons may bring a blanket or rental chairs are available for $1.00 on a first-come, first-serve basis. PARADE - If you weren't at Parade clinics today, you missed out! Mandy's routine is SUPER fun and we had a blast! Everyone is going to love this number!! COSTUME INFO - Parade dancers have the option to wear black combat boots or black converse for parade. Boots are highly recommended for the dancers performing the "shufflin" section.You will also need to provide your own black racer-back sports bra. COSTUME ORDER - We are offering all students the opportunity to order the funky harem pants and bright turquoise Infinity tanks being used for the Parade costume (pants $45/shirts $20). Mandy is allowing dancers to wear these pants and turquoise Infinity hoodies for awards ceremonies. Please be sure to get your costume size to Mindy at the Brigham Studio ASAP! Ogden Studio  Back to school sale Monday, August 20,  from 3:30-8:00 p.m.  with tons of pants (fun skinny jeans in tons of colors), shoes, vintage jewelry and accessories!!!  A trailer will be set up in the parking area, as well as some additional inventory in the office. Great chance to grab some last minute finds!!!  

The vehicle we will be using to transport our sound system for the Peach Days Parade is not able to accommodate extra riders. We regret that our youngest dancers will not be showcased in the parade this year and apologize for any inconvenience.

Fall schedules are available! A few revisions were made to accommodate most teams attending two days per week. Please note that some companies have one additional hour of technique or hip hop. Also, note the following regarding the Ogden Studio:  A beginning Competition 3&4 year old class will be offered on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. (instead of comp 3&4 year olds). Recreational 3&4 year olds will be Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00 p.m. and an Intermediate Competition 4&5 year old class will be Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00 p.m.  Dancers must have one year of previous competition experience to attend.  Please check with the office if you have any questions.

Due to a unforeseen performance conflict for our instructors, our master class with Eldon and Jeffery is being rescheduled. The new dates and times will be posted soon!

This is an amazing opportunity to work with such a talented choreographer!! Dancers will have time to change after the class and get ready for the show.

Reminder - NO Classes will be held at either Studio on Tuesday, July 24. The BRIGHAM Studio Tuesday classes have been rescheduled. Tuesday dancers received a note or phone call with the alternate class date information: Miss JeriAnn's Tuesday classes will be held on Monday and Miss Tayler's Tiny Prep classes will be held on Wednesday.

We are SO lucky to have amazing Brandon Armstrong (national champion and recently signed with DWTS!) teaching a master class for us tonight at the Ogden Studio from 7 to 9 p.m.!! Our dancers who attended Hollywood Vibe had a fabulous week! They ALL represented our Studio so well and we are super proud of them! The date for Dance Fever has been changed to October 26 & 27 since we were not able to get all the rooms needed at the hotel in August. Please change this on your calendar and be sure to check the payment reminders for fee due dates. Thanks!!

Ballet dancers are needed for the Brigham City Temple Cultural Celebration on Saturday, September 22. Miss Michelle Jackman is choreographing a piece spotlighting the Bear River Bird Refuge and is looking for dancers ages 12-18 (18 year olds must still be attending young womens) who live in stake boundaries from Willard to Malad. We have received information that I-15 is scheduled for closure on Saturday, June 23. Hwy 89 is the suggested route to Brigham City. Please let friends know and remember to leave early so you can arrive on time!

Please be advised there is construction in Sardine Canyon and on the highway all the way to Logan. Some lanes have been closed and the speed limit from Wellsville to Logan has been 40 mph (with loose gravel on the roads). Plan for the commute to take at least 45-50 minutes from Brigham City . Leave early so you can arrive by 9:30 a.m. The good news is we have a fabulous faculty scheduled and it will be well worth the trip!!

Full Out will be held this Saturday at the Sports Academy in Logan. Please arrive by 9:30 a.m. for registration and check-in. The address is 1655 N. 200 E. Stay on Main Street as you come in to Logan all the way to 1400 North (by Cache Valley Mall). Turn right (east) on 1400 North and go two blocks. Turn left (north) on 200 East and go 2 1/2 blocks. The Sports Academy is on the left-hand side of the street. You can also turn left on 1000 West off the highway and stay on 10th west all the way to 1400 North. Turn right (east) on 1400 North and go 12 blocks to 200 East. Turn left (north) on 200 East and go 2/12 blocks. The Sports Academy is on the left-hand side of the street. See you there!

Cookie Dough packets are at the Brigham Studio. It's not too late to participate in the fundraiser. Because of the delay in receiving the packets, we are extending the selling time for one more week. All orders will be due back on Thursday, June 28.
