DanceFest Performance Reminder


Wed., August 22. Please arrive with hair & makeup done and ready to go at 5:30 p.m. We are hoping to mark the stage before the performance.
Routines to be performed: Power, Hi-Yah, and Attic
Scera Shell Outdoor Theater, 699 South State Street, Orem, in Scera Park

Pre-show starts at 7:00 p.m. and the main event at 8:00 p.m. We are performing in the pre-show. Ticket prices range from $14-$20 based on seating. 225-ARTS, www.scera.org. The show is outdoors. Bring chairs if you aren't sitting in the reserved seating section. Light jackets or blankets are also suggested.

The SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre features festival seating on a grassy slope, with designated sections for chair and blankets. There are also reserved and general admission areas. Patrons may bring a blanket or rental chairs are available for $1.00 on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Shell is located at 699 South State, Orem, in the middle of SCERA Park. Free parking is available on streets and parking lots surrounding the Shell. 


Exit right following the sign (US-189)/UT-52 (EXIT 272)

At ramp's end, take a left to W 800 N/W 8th 

Turn right on N State Street/US-891.4 miles
The main Scera Theater is located at 699 South State Street. Scera Park and the Outdoor Theater are about 4 blocks east (toward the mountain) of the main theater. Turn east immediately before the main theater and the road winds through a residential area for about 4 blocks. Turn left (north) on 400 East and travel about 2 blocks. The park and outdoor theater will be on the left. There is free parking in a lot and on the streets around the park. There are several entrances into the park.

McKenna has grown up in her family owned dance studio in Vernal, UT where dance has played an important part of her life and has taught her more than just steps. McKenna is trained in and loves to teach all styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Clogging, and Hip Hop. Choreographing is her joy and she has been hired all over from Washington, to New Mexico, and has won many choreography awards.
