Welcome to Gotta Move @ Ogden Egyptian Theater.
2415 Washington Blvd, Ogden Utah

This competition will be a 3 day event with solo/duos/trios on Thursday and Friday, as well as teams on Friday and Saturday.

  • Dressing areas will be assigned.
  • Concessions will be sold throughout the day.
  • $5 Parking is available in the parking garage directly behind the Theater/Conference Center.   
  
Reminders:
·  Be sure that parents and other observers know that there is an entry charge at the door.  Wristbands issued.  Performing dancers check in at the front entry for a free wristband.
o $7 one day teens and adults
o $5 one day children age 3-12 yrs
o $10 multiple day pass teens and adults
o $8 Multiple day pass children age 3-12 yrs
o $2 printed line-up program (or you can download the latest posted version for free from the website) The schedule will change!!
·  Doors open to the public1 hr prior to the start of the competition each day.
  •     Thursday10:30 AM 
  •      Friday 8 AM
  •      Saturday 6 AM  
·  No outside food is allowed. Concessions will be sold at the theater lobby
·   Please bring your music on a CD to the sound table at the front of the stage a minimum of  30 min prior to performance time.  Please be prepared with a form of back-up music on an ipod or phone in the event of CD malfunction.  Music CD's can be recovered immediately after each performance.
·  Please be courteous and good sports.  This includes not walking in front of the performers, or standing up in front of the audience, blocking their view. 
·  You will receive 3 score sheets per number.  One judge will be doing an audio evaluation that will be delivered to your email within 24 hrs.  If you do not receive your audio, please contact us at this email and we will get it sent to you.

We are so excited to welcome several new faculty members this season and are pleased to begin our introductions with McKenna Lynch!! McKenna has grown up in her family owned dance studio in Vernal, UT where dance has played an important part of her life and has taught her more than just steps. McKenna is trained in and loves to teach all styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Clogging, and Hip Hop. Choreographing is her joy and she has been hired all over from Washington, to New Mexico, and has won many choreography awards. She has had the opportunity of working with world renowned choreographers including Mia Michaels and Tabitha and Napolean. McKenna’s dreams came true when she auditioned for the hit T.V show “So you think you can dance” (season 8) and got a ticket to Vegas!
