New Century Dance Project

Infinity dancers have been invited to participate in the New Century Dance Project Festival hosted by Creative Arts Academy on August 19-20, 2016. This is an optional opportunity for any intermediate to advanced dancers ages 10-22.

The Festival is the brain child of Francisco Gella, a dance educator and choreographer who has taught and choreographed throughout the world.  Francisco has brought together some of the finest dance educators to be a part of the festival faculty. The faculty includes:

The festival offers master classes and workshops on the 19th and 20th and concludes with a festival concert on Saturday night August 20th at the University of Utah's Hayes Christensen Theatre at the Marriott Center for Dance.  Any intermediate to advanced dancer ages 10-22 is invited to register for the Festival Workshop and Master Class pass. All dancers and community members are invited to purchases tickets to the Festival concert. The concert will feature amazing professional companies and dancers, and youth companies from Utah and across the United States.

For festival details, concert tickets, and passes to the concert after-party, and to register for master classes/workshops, please go to . Festival workshop/master classes are $200/dancer, concert tickets are $10/student and $15/non-student, and after-party tickets purchases in advance are $10/person. ​

Aspire Dance Competition – Val Browning Center Weber State University 1901 University Cir, Ogden UT March 9-10
•Free Admission: All spectators may view the competition free of charge!
•Doors Open: 9:00 am Friday morning and 8:30 am Saturday morning. Admittance will not be granted prior to this time.
•Parking: Due to it being spring break at Weber State, the normal pay parking lots near the Val Browning Center are open and will have free parking.
•Dancer Arrival Time: All solo, duet and trio performers need to check in upon arrival AT LEAST 45 MINUTES PRIOR to their scheduled performance. Please be early! If we are running ahead of schedule, we will not wait for latecomers. Any music CD's can be submitted at this time. 
•Music CD Option: If music is not uploaded to website, each routine's music should be burned SEPARATELY on a CD. Please mark your studio's (or soloist's) name and the routine name clearly on each CD. No CD's will be accepted with multiple tracks.

General information for the competition is below. The competition may run up to one hour ahead of schedule. Please arrive two hours before your first scheduled routine. Bring your warm ups and wear them in all public areas. Also, please review and abide by photography rules and policies on food in the theater and dressing rooms. We are one week from our 7th annual Will Dance for Food Competition and couldn’t be more excited! Thank you so much for your support of this important cause and for your parents and dancers giving back to the community. That is what they will remember long after the competition is over!  PLEASE READ THE FINAL REMINDERS CAREFULLY & PASS ON TO YOUR DANCERS & PARENTS:
Doors will open at 3:00 pm on Friday. Competition starts at 3:30 pm on Auditorium Stage & 4:00 pm on Gym Stage. Doors open at 7:00 am on Saturday. Competition starts on Auditorium Stage at 8:00 am & Gym Stage at 8:30 am. Please don’t arrive earlier than the time the doors open.
