DANCERS BE IN THE BUILDING DRESSED AND READY TO GO BY NOON! Parents please plan for extra time to park and walk to the venue. There is a drop off location in Presidents Circle in front of the venue.

Infinity is planning to purchase the video. Cost will be $6 per dancer (a serious BARGAIN!!). Bring cash or check payable to Infinity to the studio by April 16.

Hey Battle Studios!

LAST MINUTE DETAILS:

1.  MASTER CLASSES:  FREE MASTER CLASSES on Battle morning from 9-11 am at Kingsbury Hall.  Fred Odgaard (currently dancing in Kinky Boots on Broadway and Alyx Andrushuk (currently touring withThe Backstreet Boys) will be our instructors and your dancers will LOVE them!  All dancers/teachers wishing to participate will need to enter the backstage entrance at Kingsbury Hall (on the Northeast corner of the building).  Classes will take place on the stage and in the dance studio in the basement of Kingsbury.  We will split dancers into two groups based on ability/age.  Battle dancers will check in by name at the backstage door.  Non-participants may also take the Master Classes for $20 if space is available.

2.  PARKING:  Parking on the University of Utah campus is mostly free and open on Saturdays but read signs carefully.  There is a designated parking garage near Kingsbury Hall indicated on the parking map below.  There will be one reserved parking spot for each Studio Director on President’s Circle right in front of the theatre that day.

3.  TICKETS:  Just a reminder that all spectators will have to buy a ticket to The Battle.  But it will be one GREAT SHOW so invite friends and family and fellow dancers to come watch some of the best dancing in the state!  Tickets are $15 each at the Kingsbury Hall box office (outside the building on the right of the main doors).

4.  VIDEOGRAPHY:  Our official Battle Photographer, Corey with Manshak Films, will be filming throughout the day. Studios who would like him to film their routines, he will give you and your parents and dancers free downloadable access to every routine from your studio, including Final Battle performances, as well as our Battle highlight video for just $6 per registered dancer.
