Releve Dance Competition Information

Here is the schedule for next weekend at Releve. Below the schedule is information provided to us from Releve.  Please make sure you read through all the information!!


  • Competition is March 26-27, 2021 at Sky View High School
    • Enter through the Main Entrance to go through the COVID check in process (see details below under COVID Information).
      • By entering the building you agree to wear your mask at all times
    • ONLY TWO GUEST PER DANCER (see details below under COVID Information)
      • Live Steaming of the event will be available @relevedc.com for other family members to view.
    • Due to limited people allowed in the building EACH DANCER WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR PERFORMANCE TIME..
  • Dancers check in backstage 3 dances before your performance time.
  • Concessions, Dance apparel and programs are available for purchase.
  • A FREE electronic download of our program will be available on our website the day of the competition.
  • After each Awards please exit the building so that we can prepare for the next section of the competition.

    COVID INFORMATION:

    • Studio/Dancer/Guests
      • Everyone must wear a mask EXCEPT for when dancers are on the stage performing.
        • There will be a drop off and pick up area for their masks while they perform
        • NAME MUST BE ON DANCERS MASK
      • To limit crowd sizes please help us by informing parents ONLY TWO GUEST PER DANCER MAY ATTEND
      • Come in costume with hair and makeup done, limit other items to what is absolutely necessary
      • Dressing areas will be limited.
        • You are responsible to keep dressing areas clean (i.e. trash in the garbage immediately, personal belonging kept in bags etc.)
        • Only Dancers and Directors allowed in dressing areas. Guest can come in briefly to help dancer change costume.
      • ALL DANCERS MUST ENTER STAGE RIGHT AND EXIT STAGE LEFT
      • One representative per routine onstage to receive awards, no congregating, sit together as a studio
      • All dancers, studios, spectators, participants, parents etc. who attend the competition take full responsibility for their own safety and health and come with the knowledge of the risk and potential exposure involved and agree to accept any and all inherent risks to their personal health. By coming to the event you should be symptom-free and you should also not come to the event if you are known to have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Releve is not liable, attend at your own risk.

        • Dancer/Guest check in and screening
        • COVID questions will be asked, names will be taken for contact tracing, and Temperature will be checked at the door when entering the building. If temperature is over 100.4 you will be asked to leave the venue
        • Wristbands will be given to those who have checked in
      • Extra sanitation procedures will be taken after each awards. Everyone will need to exit auditorium during cleaning.

We are so excited to welcome several new faculty members this season and are pleased to begin our introductions with McKenna Lynch!! McKenna has grown up in her family owned dance studio in Vernal, UT where dance has played an important part of her life and has taught her more than just steps. McKenna is trained in and loves to teach all styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Clogging, and Hip Hop. Choreographing is her joy and she has been hired all over from Washington, to New Mexico, and has won many choreography awards. She has had the opportunity of working with world renowned choreographers including Mia Michaels and Tabitha and Napolean. McKenna’s dreams came true when she auditioned for the hit T.V show “So you think you can dance” (season 8) and got a ticket to Vegas!
