ALL THINGS NRG!!!

We are so excited to be at another competition this week! Please read through ALL the information below. This will help make the week go smooth.

Prodigy dancers will be getting a detailed email from Leila Wednesday morning.

The competition schedule is back a few previous posts. You can pull that up, print it or save it to your phone.

As you may have noticed, our routines are pretty close together. NRG has taken all things into consideration and know that we may need to pause and take a few extra minutes.  with that said, please have your costumes in order and ready to go so we can keep the flow of the competition.

Check in time for our studio is at 3:30 pm. If there are any dance dads willing to help unload and load props, it would be greatly appreciated. Please reach out to Stephanie if you're able to help.

Download the NRG app on your phone! This will have the competition schedule and it will be in real time!

The App will also provide the following:

  • Convention Schedule
  • Adjudication awards (approx 10 minutes after the competition)
  • overall awards, Saturday afternoon (between 2-3pm)
  • pictures and videos of all infinity routines. These should be available by Wednesday next week.

Convention class  (Please note that Jr dancers will be in a ballroom at the Marriott hotel across from the convention center.  There will not be any observer bands available. Parents of Lil'Sparks can have a band to help get your dancers in and out of the rooms.  Teachers are allowed to view dancers and encouraged to be in he classes during scholarship awards, Those will be handed out during auditions.

Dancers temperatures will be taken before allowed into the ballroom. ( please arrive 30 minutes before for your temp check).

NRG does not give numbers to dancers. You will each have a colored wristband to wear during convention and  Stephanie will be handing those out Wednesday.

MASK Policy for NRG-Masks must be worn with the exception of performing on stage. Dancers are required to wear a mask during classes as well. All observers also need to wear a mask. NRG has also asked  that we keep our observer number at 2 per dancer.

Cash Awards will be handled a little different then in years past. If you win a cash value award for a solo, duo, or trio. A check will be sent to our studio and we will give that to you when it arrives.

All other awards will be picked up by Stephanie Saturday afternoon. If want to want just find her at the event and collect your awards she will be happy to hand them out.
