Hollywood Vibe Reminders

Just some friendly reminders for you and your dance families from Hollywood Vibe.

We are very excited to dance in-person with you this weekend!!

Hollywood Vibe has planned the entire event with the health and safety of everyone in mind.  We are very fortunate to be holding a live in-person event.  Every city varies in their guidelines and requirements.

*We are aware of the recent mask lifting the state has just announced.  The Utah Valley Convention Center is a county run facility whose policies differ from the state which is still upholding the Mask Mandate Policy.  Hollywood Vibe, as a company, is also upholding the mask mandate policy that does require masks in the PRE-FUNCTION AREAS & BALLROOM AREAS.  Masks are not required for dancers on stage competing but will be asked to wear a mask from moving from the dressing room to the stage.
If anyone does not want to wear a mask, please refrain from attending the event and watch the competition via live stream.

*Any type of Shields are not a form of a mask as they do not fully cover/enclose the nose and mouth.  Dancers can leave their masks on our "designated table" backstage before they compete on stage.

*COVID waivers : Please be sure your parents have this form when they arrive at the event so your dancers can turn in first thing Saturday morning during their temperature checks. If you have not stopped by the office to get a form, today is the last day to do that. You can also click here and print the form https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jpkBh0c15Zi00FWR1LhFCTZuHWdml59c6h3feVn2jYc/edit?usp=sharing

*Remember that audience for competition will be limited.  We ask that you limit your dancers to 1-2  guests.  Once you watch your performer to then leave to give more audience members a chance to watch their dancer.  We will be streaming the competition for others to enjoy! The link will be right on the home page of our website once it goes live

*We also ask that parents do not sit in the hallways during the event.  During lunchtimes, please go inside the ballrooms to eat to help spread out and maintain that social distancing.

*Lastly, please be mindful that the front of our stage as a medal facade that is strictly decorative.  It is not to be stepped on and we ask that you not jump off the front of the stage as we have equipment that is set up in front.
